Been going to Monteman since 2023 and it’s hands down the best barbershop in NYC!! Evan is the best barber ever and his whole team is incredible as well, the service is beyond amazing!! If I could give them 100 stars I would.

Found this place about 2-3 years ago while looking for a barbershop in Brooklyn. Booked an appointment with Evan and have been a customer ever since. Stuff is super friendly and Evan nails the haircut all the time. Highly recommend this place!

I've been going to Evan for several years. I've since moved out of the neighborhood, and still go out of my way to have Evan cut my hair. He's simply the best in the business, and I couldn't recommend him (or his other barbers) highly enough.

There’s a reason this place has five stars. I had my haircut done by Evan, and it’s honestly one of the best I’ve ever had. He was incredibly friendly, made great suggestions for my hair, and was super patient when I showed up late due to bus issues. Evan treats everyone who walks in with the same kindness and enthusiasm.
